Announcement by Dream Erie
Hello everyone, this is Dream Erie.

Thank you for always supporting Dream and E-girls. All of a sudden, I'd like to tell you something about my future activities.

I, Erie, would like to pursue the career of a DJ as a new way to challenge myself. I want to contribute to and support E-girls as a DJ, not as a performer.

This was not a sudden decision, but something I started thinking about about two years ago, when I wanted to challenge my own potential from a different angle with my own power.

DJing was something that started out as an interest. However, after performing at various events in various areas, I felt the appeal of DJing and the possibilities of DJing firsthand, and came to the conclusion that I wanted to pursue DJing. While the members of Dream and E-girls are working hard outside of the activities of their respective groups, I also want to establish my own activities beyond the boundaries of the groups. Because I am responsible for carrying the names of Dream and E-girls, I seriously want to aim to be recognized as a real DJ.

E-girls is a team made up of various groups and members with different ages and backgrounds. Although Dream is in the position of the most senior group, there are so many things that Dream has been able to realize by meeting everyone in E-girls. I've experienced two solo tours with everyone. What I think now is that E-girls is something to be "handed down". Especially when I look at E-girls objectively from my standpoint, I think E-girls should be a place where everyone can shine.

I don't mean to act like a senior or say something pompous at all. It has been about 4 years since E-girls debuted with "Celebration!", everyone's growth has been really wonderful and brilliant, and I've been able to rely on them a lot. I wanted to keep the importance of stepping out and taking on challenges. My goal now is to be able to stand on my own feet and become "independent" after facing my age and my position.

I met the members of Dream in 2002, and on July 7th next year, I will be entering my 15th year. 15 years... It is truly a miracle that I am able to continue to pursue my dreams as Dream in this entertainment industry. I'm going to bite down on this "miracle" and take on the "challenge" from here. I hope you will continue to support Dream and E-girls Erie.

I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who have always supported me.

2016[]

On October 28, she revealed to be graduating from both Dream and E-girls and would also retire from the entertainment industry in the end of the year. She revealed to be "wanting to start her life from zero" with the current line-up of Dream completing 15 years in the group on July 7 and would go study abroad once she graduates.[4]

Announcement by Dream Erie
Thank you very much for always supporting Dream and E-girls.

I have something to tell you this time.

I have decided to retire from the entertainment industry at the end of this year.

I apologize for the suddenness of this announcement.

I have been with the members of Dream for 14 years since our debut in 2002.

There have been so many things that have happened to me, but especially since I belonged to LDH, I have been able to feel and see with my own eyes many possibilities and moments of dreams coming true.

As for E-girls, we have done three arena tours, and Dream will celebrate their 15th anniversary on July 7 next year.

As we enter this big milestone of the 15th year, I've come to think that I'd like to take a big step out of the environment I'm in, start my life from zero, and challenge myself to stand on my own feet.

If I am to celebrate my 15th year, Do I want to continue as a member of Dream until I become a grandmother? ......

I thought that if I wanted to take on a new challenge in my life, this 15th year would be the only time I could do it, so I asked the members for advice.

As I write this, I'm still thinking about how we have been going to the same school as Dream since we were children, taking the train together to go to lessons after school, looking at the light even in the midst of our fast-paced lives, and how we've been able to laugh our way through everything because of the members, no matter how difficult it was. It all comes back to me like it was yesterday, and I'm really grateful to the members for their understanding of my decision.

I have only grown up in the world of "entertainment" since I was 14 years old, so I believe that this is where my "studies" and "trials" really begin.

Although I am in the world of entertainment, HIRO has taught me very important things to live by every day.

In my new life, I would like to challenge myself to study abroad, which has been one of my dreams for a long time, and I would like to become an independent person with my feet firmly planted on the ground, never forgetting to challenge myself at any age.

I am grateful to E-girls for giving me a lot of wonderful sights to see.

And even if I become a grandmother in the future, my feelings will not change and I am a member of Dream, but I sincerely thank God that I have found an important treasure in my life.

To everyone I've met in my 14 years as an entertainer,

Everyone who has supported me warmly at all times,

Thank you very much.
