Trivia[]
- Due to an increase of members, starting from this single, LDH used a new system for the release of singles for which the girls were required to undergo a period of training and afterwards, the girls who excelled and fit the image of the single would be chosen to participate.
- First release to include members Takebe Yuzuna, Hagio Misato, Inagaki Rio, Takeda Kyoka, Ishii Anna, Yamaguchi Nonoka and Ikuta Risa. Also it is the only release of Hanayama Mizuki, Vats Mira and Oishi Miyuu on the E-Girls line-up, although only Vats and Oishi appear on the Seifuku Dance segment of the "Follow Me" music video.
- Happiness member MAYU was absent from the single due to her being on hiatus. EGD member Kizu Reina was also absent and was also not listed on the group's website during the promotion of the single for unknown reasons.
- The b-side "Himawari (E-Girls Version)" is an E-girls cover of Dream's 2010 song of same title, released as b-side of their 22nd single "My Way ~ULala~".
- The choreography of the title track was created by AKIKO.[1]
- The music video of "Follow Me" is currently the group's most popular music video.[2]
- The title track is their first song that appears in the game Just Dance Wii U.
- The title track was certified Double Platinum by RIAJ for selling more than 500,000 copies digitally.
- Sana, member of the South Korean girl-group TWICE, sang the chorus of the title track for her introduction video of the audition show SIXTEEN.
- On February 20, 2019, American Punk-Rock band Zebrahead released a cover of the title track. The cover is included as the bonus song on the Japan version of their 2019 album BRAIN INVADERS and has three different music videos on their official YouTube channel: a lyric video, a music video shot in Japan and an acoustic version.
