Yamamoto Mina (山本実奈), better known by her stage name MINA, is a Japanese singer and performer.

She passed the iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ audition in the girls division as one of seven winners in 2022 and was selected as one of the members of a future girl group.

Biography

Yamamoto Mina was born on October 16, 2006 in Mie Prefecture, Japan.

From 2021 to 2022, she participated in the girls division of the audition iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ and was chosen as one of 7 winners, securing her spot and debut as a member of a future girl group.

On December 29, it was announced that MINA had decided to withdraw from the group due to personal reasons after discussing the matter with the members and staff.

Thank you for your constant support to LDH and "iCON Z Girls Group Audition". Here is a notice on the qualified member MINA of the girl group division in "iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~". After the announcement of qualified applicants of the audition, the members have been preparing for a long-term training camp in South Korea and the project production for their debut work. However, MINA told us she didn't want to debut as a group member for personal reasons. After that, we confirmed her thoughts and her ideas about the future. After having a lot of discussions with the members including MINA and staff, we decided to respect her choice. She will not debut as a group member and will no longer participate in future activities of this group. We would like to sincerely apologize to all people who have given their support and related people for worries and troubles caused by this sudden announcement. LDH and team CDL will keep on supporting MINA who will walk on a new path in the future. We hope you can warmly support MINA and the 5 members' decision. Moreover, the qualified members are preparing for the recording of their new work and the shooting for their video work in the new year. Please keep on supporting them who are energetically carrying out activities for their major debut in 2023.
