Nishizumi Rio

Nishizumi Rio (西住梨央), currently known by the stage name RIONA, is a Japanese professional dancer, gravure model and member of CYBERJAPAN DANCERS. She has also been working as a back dancer for LDH artists since 2013.[1]

She is a former member of the trainee groups Bunnies, Rabbits and PATTY, and the performance team of HIROOMI TOSAKA.

Biography[]

Nishizumi Rio was born on January 1, 1999 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

She started dancing in the second grade of elementary school and later became a scholarship student at EXPG Tokyo.[2]

In 2013, she was introduced as a member of the trainee group Bunnies.

In 2014, upon reaching high school age, she was transferred to Bunnies' sister trainee group Rabbits.

In the second year of high school, she moved to Tokyo.[2]

In December 2017, she was revealed as a member of EXPG Lab's project group PATTY.[3][4]

She left EXPG Lab in late 2019 and became a freelance dancer afterwards.

On August 19, 2022, Nishizumi announced that she had decided to join CYBERJAPAN DANCERS and would go by the stage name "RIONA".[5][2]
