Sudannayuzuyully

Sudannayuzuyully (スダンナユズユリー, also known as SYY) was a Japanese dance-pop and hip-hop trio that debuted in 2017 under the label rhythm zone and managed by LDH JAPAN. It is composed by Happiness' members Suda Anna, YURINO and E-girls' member Takebe Yuzuna. The unit's name is an acronym of the girls' nicknames Sudanna (スダンナ), Yuzu (ユズ) and Yully (ユリー).

The unit disbanded on December 31, 2020.[1][2]

History

2016

On November 9, a new unit formed by Suda Anna, YURINO and Takebe Yuzuna was announced on the first concert of Happiness' first tour Happiness LIVE TOUR 2016 GIRLZ N' EFFECT, with the members starting an Instagram account on the same day.[3] In the unit, Takebe is a vocalist and Suda and YURINO rappers. This is the first time both members would be vocally featured in any E-girls related group.

2017

On November 26, 2016, the unit announced to be debuting with the single "OH BOY" on March 1 under the label rhythm zone.[4]

The unit released their second single "CALL ME NOW" on August 9.

2018

The group appeared as opening act of Sandaime J Soul Brothers' members CRAZYBOY and Tosaka Hiroomi's solo tours during July to December.

2019

On January 9, the group released their first digital single "LOOK AT ME NOW".

On February 22, they participated of E.G.family's first tour E.G.POWER 2019 ~POWER to the DOME~, that went through until May 25.

On March 6, the group released their first album SYY.[5],

On March 14, the group released their first mook magazine SYYM.

On October 10, the group released their second digital single "MAGIC TIME". The song was used as ending theme song for the anime Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE.

2020

On December 15, with the announcement of YURINO and Suda Anna's decision of leaving LDH JAPAN on December 31 with E-girls' disbandment, it was announced that Sudannayuzuyully would be disbanding as Takebe Yuzuna would be the only remaining member of the unit.[1][2]

On December 28, the group released their last album THANK YOU. Labeled as a complete album, it includes all released songs of the unit and their live appearances at Happiness, E-girls and E.G.family concerts.

On December 31, the unit officially disbanded.[1]
